Kimbo Radar discovers rising talent and trends across the international electronic music scene, including both Kimbo Records artists and artists with no connection to the label. It is an open editorial ranking, independent from Kimbo’s catalogue: everyone competes under the same rules and must have fewer than 1,000,000 monthly Spotify listeners at the time of measurement.

CALCULATED
Kimbo Radar does not judge whether a track is good or bad. It organises public, measurable signals of discovery, audience response and professional momentum. The full score totals 100 points: 30 from Spotify, 30 from YouTube, 15 from Beatport and 25 from consistency.

The table currently displays and orders confirmed Spotify playlist points only. Other scoring blocks will activate after several comparable weekly measurements.
As the project is still in beta, its sources, criteria and the weight assigned to each signal may be refined as data quality improves. Every edition is calculated using the methodology published and in force on its measurement date.

Relevant Spotify playlists
1 point for every public playlist Spotify presents as relevant for discovering the artist, up to 10.
Deleted, private or incomplete playlists do not count. Kimbo playlists receive no bonus.Spotify listener growth

Kimbo artists follow the same rules. Oliversam keeps his points but cannot occupy positions 1, 2 or 3 as label owner.
Unconfirmed data remains pending; it is never estimated or attributed to another person.
PUBLIC DATA AND PRIVACY
Kimbo Radar uses only publicly visible information from Spotify, YouTube and Beatport. It does not access private accounts, passwords, email addresses or listeners’ personal data.
