It is an open editorial ranking, independent from Kimbo’s catalogue: everyone competes under the same rules and must have fewer than 1,000,000 monthly Spotify listeners at the time of measurement.

HOW IT IS
CALCULATED
Kimbo Radar does not judge whether a track is good or bad. It organises public, measurable signals of discovery, audience response and professional momentum. The new signal is calculated out of 100 points: 40 from Spotify, 35 from Beatport and 25 from YouTube.

The published score combines 50% of the new measurement with 50% of the previous edition trajectory. This stabilisation lets sustained signals gain weight without allowing one weekly spike to cause artificial jumps.
As the project is still in beta, its sources, criteria and the weight assigned to each signal may be refined as data quality improves. Every edition is calculated using the methodology published and in force on its measurement date.

Combines a progressive count of relevant public playlists with monthly-listener momentum.
Every additional playlist adds value with diminishing returns; audience growth balances absolute and percentage change.Beatport

A partial reading may preserve or raise a verified signal, but it can never lower it without a complete review.YouTube
Combines new views, relative growth and engagement across comparable readings.

The new signal represents half of the published score and the previous trajectory contributes the other half.

Kimbo artists follow the same rules. Oliversam keeps his points but cannot occupy positions 1, 2 or 3 as label owner.
Unconfirmed data remains pending; it is never estimated or attributed to another person.
PUBLIC DATA AND PRIVACY
Kimbo Radar uses only publicly visible information from Spotify, YouTube and Beatport. It does not access private accounts, passwords, email addresses or listeners’ personal data.
It is an independent Kimbo Records editorial initiative, with no payment for inclusion or sale of positions. It is not affiliated with or sponsored by Spotify, YouTube or Beatport.
